     Yeah, so it has almost been a month since i have last updated. Sorry about that. I have had too much stuff going on for school. I will try to post as often as I hear something new about Green Day.

There is a new DVD out called "Green Day's Kerplunk" that claims to be a "critical review of Green Day" that "deals frankly with the failures as well as the successes of the band" and is the "most unforgiving documentary yet recorded."

Thats pretty much all we know about it. You can buy it on Amazon and Amazon UK.

     Hey guys! If you haven't heard yet, Green Day just finished in the studio with U2 and are now performing tomorrow at the football game with them. You can see it on EPSN "Monday Night Countdown" at 7pm. The will be performing their song " The Saints are Coming". If you want to read more about it, go to GreenDayAuthority.com .

     Also, Wierd Al Yankovich is releasing his new cd on Tuesday, September 26 which has a his changed version of Green Day's 'American Idiot'. It is now titled 'Canadian Idiot' and you can also listen to it on Green Day Authority's site.

Tomorrow is the performance of "The Saints Are Coming" with Green Day and U2. The performance will be broadcast on ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown" which starts at 7PM EST. You can watch a live video feed, as well as download the recording of the song from Rhapsody. Check out that page for details tomorrow. Billie Joe gave an interview with Gibson.com about his new signature guitar series. You can watch the video here. They will be giving away an autographed Billie Joe Les Paul Jr. to someone in a contest on Gibson.com. Enter there.

This week a band out of San Diego, Pensive, is our Band of the Week. These guys play some really great pop punk music, and even better...they're Green Day fans. As a matter of fact, these guys recorded "Christie Road" for the tribute to Green Day "A Different Shade of Green". You can listen to that track, along with one of their own, and even a video for one of their songs on the Band of the Week page. You can also enter to win a copy of the their EP "Something About the Stars." They're really damn good, check them out!!

      Hey everyone out there in cyberland!! I'm back after my little vacation and am ready to start updating you on the latest Green Day news!

     As most of you have probably heard, Green Day is back in the studio! After starting to write various songs while they were on tour and working on different things, they are finally sitting down and starting on their new album. They also were latley in the studio with U2 working on a song to raise money for musicians and others that have lost so much in New Orleans. Their song will be coming out soon and they were just on Abbey Road a couple days ago at a photo shoot with U2.

      Also, Wierd Al's new cd is coming out and he took Green Days "American Idiot" and did his own thing to it, which is now called "Canadian Idiot". I will try to post it as soon as I can. For now, as all of my loyal fans know, i get all of my information from GreenDayAuthority.com and GreenDay.com's site. They have more post, polls, and articles about it if you wnat to know more. For now i will go and find more information.

      Well you Green Day fans, after months of waiting it is finally out. Yep, the  Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior series!!!!!

There are a few Green Day mentions in some recent magazines. First there is a full page photo of Billie Joe in this weeks Kerrang! Magazine. The photo is from the 2004 Reading Festival, check it out here. Thanks to Kirsty for sending that photo in.

Green Day made it in at #7 on Spin Magazine's list of Best Live Bands. Here's a scan. Thanks to mayday01 for sending it to us.

We finally got the 2007 Green Day Calendar in, and we've put up some scans of it here (the calendar was bigger than my scanner, so the images are cut off). I think it's pretty damn cool, it has some really great live Green Day photos. For those of you in the UK, PushPosters.com is selling the Calendar which you can purchase here for £7.99 or $15 (they ship internationally). For those of you in the United States, if you'd like to wait, Hot Topic will be carrying the poster in October.

Green Day lost tonight at the Kerrang! Awards where they were nominated for Best Video with Jesus of Suburbia. Fall Out Boy's video for Sugar We're Going Down took that catagory instead. A complete list of the winners can be found here. Can't win them all - but it's alright, we still got the VMA's coming up next Thursday at 8PM EST on MTV.

Sorry about the downtime we had this morning. The server felt like taking a shit on itself today.
